Meet The Guys

Chris Harrison - Bass Chris resides in Whiteville NC with his wife Susan and two children Makenzie and Josh. He has been involved in Southern Gospel music since the age of 15, and travelled with such groups as The Beacons, The Apostles, New Touch, and The New Believers. Chris' smooth style of bass has been compared by many to Ed O'Neal of the Dixie Melody Boys and Eric Bennett of Triumphant Quartet. Among other duties, he runs the sound for the group and man he does a great job! So if your looking for a great bass voice you will be richly blessed when you hear Chris in concert. PS....Lets not forget Chris' wife Susan, who handles the Secretary/Treasurer duties for the group. We could not make it without her.

Eddie Inman- Baritone Eddie is the founding member of GBQ and handles a lot of the emcee work. He and his wife, Susan make their home in Bladenboro, NC. Since the beginning of this ministry in 1998 his smooth vocals, singing style, faithfulness, and God given talent of song writing for songs such as, "New City", "Get Out Of The Boat", "Homecoming Day" and "Cross On A Hill", makes Eddie one of the main reasons the Glory Bound Quartet has been so successful through the years.

Ronald Locklear - Lead Ronald makes his home in St. Pauls NC with his wife Rena and son Gabe. Ronald had never sang with a quartet before, but you'd never know it! Our first encounter with him was at a homecoming service in St. Pauls NC. I believe he sang a song or two during our intermission that afternoon and we hung around to hear him perform... man oh man, what a voice and the spirit on this young man was unreal! We had to go and talk with him after the service was over. When the time came to find someone to fill the lead position, Ronald stepped in and we didn't miss a beat. Ronald is an intricate part of GBQ bringing not only a great talent, but a great spirit that is contagious...just one listen, and you'll fall in love with him just as we have.

Allen Thompkins - Tenor Allen and his wife Lisa live in Little River, SC. He grew up around bluegrass, country, and gospel, and credits his dad for being his biggest musical influence. Allen has been blessed with the opportunity to travel with both regional and national gospel groups such as The Chuckwagon Gang, The Tennesseans Quartet, The Crownsmen, and Calvary Construction Company.
